So my family have had this running joke for the last two and a half years. It basically involves hiding the two of hearts in random places and when the other person finds it, you have to say (in as smug a voice as possible) ‘is this your card?’
At the start it was just hiding it in people’s wallets, in their birthday cards etc
Then we stepped it up a gear and it became my brother writing my address on the back of a two of hearts and sticking a stamp on it so I’d get it in the post, or when I put a two of hearts in his passport and he handed it over at the airport and when it fell out, the woman picked it up and asked if that was his card.
The last major stunt was hiding a card in the middle of a lindt chocolate rabbit and then resealing it so it looked untampered with. But today’s event is the new bench mark…
Today a florist’s van pulled up outside our house and a lady started approaching our door. My dad opened it, and sounding confused, called me into the hallway. The woman said these were for me and handed me two red heart shaped balloons. When I opened the envelope all it said was ‘Is this your card?’

It makes me so happy that these guys are my friends.
We had a Harry Potter Party last night. It was awesome.

Oh no, I hope it turns out okay for you!
Thanks! So do i haha, but the worst that can happen is I have to repeat it, and that’s not the end of the world. But thank you!
I’m the type of girl who cries during her osce.
……that sucks.
Although it’s over and i still managed to conduct a consultation(the simulated patient was just staring at me in pity, as I asked about her warfarin history with tears running down my cheeks.) There were way more consultation scenarios than I thought there would be, and the small amount of people skills that I thought I had seemed to be lacking today.
But I did pick up some marks. So we’ll see how it all goes.
Free at 12 noon today….
It will be glorious.
First though I have 12 examined stations where I have to come across as a professional who knows what they’re doing…..yeah I know not really my strong point
